The 10-Foot Kaleidoscopic Merry-Go-Round is a deluxe version of the classic playground favorite with a host of new and exciting features which make it safer and more fun than ever before. One vital, yet often overlooked, upgrade is the speed governor hidden under the floor platform (see second image). This device limits the rotation speed of the merry-go-round so that it won’t reach dangerous levels, without making it difficult for kids to push. The need to manually power its movement requires kids to exercise by pushing off on the ground or railings, and encourages them to take turns to make the ride as fun as possible for everyone. The wide handrails offer plenty of places to hang on to, allowing up to 16 children to safely ride at the same time. The Kaleidoscopic Merry-Go-Round gets its name from the thermoplastic-coated metal floor panels, whose bright colors seem to swirl and blend together as it spins.
