The 4 Hoop U-Lockit Bike Rack serves as a convenient parking space for up to eight bikes. Its innovative design replaces the vertical bars infamously known as ‘wheelbenders’ among experienced cyclists for their tendency to cause catastrophic damage to the wheels and spokes of bikes that get knocked over. Instead, it uses four hoops which can support one bike on either side for a total capacity of eight bicycles. Each hoop offers two points of contact for a secure connection which can be made using most types of locks, including U-locks. The small ledge between each hoop makes it easy to roll a bike into place, without making it easy for the bike to roll away. They are made from 97% recycled metal in square-shaped pipes that are immune to pipe cutters. Surface mounts are included for easy installation, and the whole package ships flat to significantly reduce shipping fees. There are eight colors of powder coat paint available from which to select, although the galvanized metal finish is also sold as pictured.
