Is there a weight capacity for a 2 bay, 1 cantilever swing?
Question by: Alice Edmaiston on Apr 1, 2022, 12:24 PM
The bay has been tested up to 750 pounds, per seat. Please note, a swing is made from many components. Changing any component will affect the weight a swing seat can hold. Please keep in mind that the cantilever arm is not made to withstand the weight of a larger child because it does not have the other post to help with the distribution of the weight. The cantilever should be used for bucket seats and toddlers.
Do you make a 10' high set that would be better for older children and adults?

Single post swings are only available with an 8' top rail. If you are interested in a swing with a 10' or 12' height swing that will hold the weight of an adult, I would suggest a heavy duty modern tripod swing. These are made with a 3'5" top rail and can withstand the weight of an adult.
