The Epicenter is an unusual playground activity which promotes balance, coordination, and teamwork. It consists of a central circular platform surrounded by four smaller stepping pads. When kids stand on the pads and lean from left to right, the central platform tilts and moves as well. This means that up to four people can influence the movements of the central circle, and vise versa. Children can try to balance a ball in the center of the structure, or a child can stand in the middle and try to keep standing while the platform shifts and shakes. The Epicenter can be fun for an individual kid, but can be wildly entertaining with larger groups. Kids will have a blast trying to tip each other over on this unique playground game.
