The Freestanding Straight Snake Loop Ladder is an overhead climber which uses a single bar that bends back and forth across a central beam. This imitates the horizontal rungs of a traditional overhead ladder and offers all of the same advantages with a more modern and aesthetically pleasing appearance, as well as more places to climb. The rungs extend outward on both sides of the overhead beam, so kids can grab onto either side, but the snakily alternating shape encourages children to use both arms equally. Children also have the ability to hang onto the outside of each bend or even climb along the entire back-and-forth path of the curving bar, rather than just going straight from one side to the other.
