What is the shank diameter of galvanized steel spike?

Per information obtained from the manufacturer, the shank is 1/2" in diameter and the top it 1 1/4".

Is the spike round and tapered or flat? it's hard to tell in the picture.

The stake tapers down at the end but it rounded at the bottom.

So the shank is 1/2" at the bottom but before the head is how wide in diameter. It needs to go through a steel hole that is 3/4" in diameter. Will that work?

The head is 1 1/4" and the stake is 1/2".
