Playgrounds have been around for over one hundred years. What started out as a simple sand garden (or an early version of the sand box), has now grown into playgrounds filled with many complex, educational, and themed elements. With advancements in technology and standards, playground equipment’s reputation is one of safety, as it’s made from sturdy materials. We know that every child is unique with different likes and interests. A basic slide and a couple of swings might be a source of fun for some, but it might not spark the interest of other children. That is why we have many different options. Don't be overwhelmed by the multitude of names of playground equipment. While we are continually creating and developing new types of playground equipment, the names of playground equipment are typically broad categories of classic play structures. Swings, slides, playground climbers, see saws, merry-go-rounds, spring riders, and tubes are just a taste of playground equipment’s variety. They all come in a variety of sizes, styles, and themes to fit your playground's uniqueness.
Swings
One of the most basic types of playground equipment on a classic playground is the swing. It is a seat attached to a thick chain or rope and hangs from a metal frame. It is a timeless piece that will be used for years by children and even adults. We want everybody to enjoy the thrill of safely soaring through the sky, and our variety of seats makes it possible for toddlers, infants, children, and adults to swing.
Slides
You will find very few playgrounds that don't have a slide in some shape or length. Children race up to the top to quickly slide down in a matter of seconds. Tunnel slides are are one of parents’ favorite things at playgrounds because there are no unsafe edges. Children love the fun rotation of a spiral slide. Spiral slides are a fun element to add next to a more basic slide with a straight line.
See-Saws
We remember what it was like playing on a see-saw, and want it to be an option for all of our playgrounds. It isn't only for older children to bounce back and forth, our different sizes make it possible for toddlers and even four children to hop on and enjoy.
Merry-Go-Rounds
Merry-Go-Rounds are a blast for kids, and are one of the best playground rides that kids can get a ticket to.. While the classic one is fun to ride on with friends, we offer a variety of ways to add spinning to your playground. A child can spin alone on a small individual spinner, or for more control and safety, a tea cup merry go round lets kid's spin while sitting in the safety of a cup-shaped frame. Children can even hang by their arms and spin with their legs dangling in the air.
Playground Climbers
Climbers are continually becoming one of the more popular things at playgrounds. The vast designs that come in a variety shapes, styles, and structures make it easy to fit and blend in with any playground. They add a modern touch to most playgrounds and help children work upper-body strength. Horizontal ladders, ring climbers, and parallel bars work children's arms as they carry themselves across the structure. Boulders, rock climbers, and ropes are fun for children as they challenge their body and encourage exploration.
Spring Riders
Spring riders are any type of seat placed upon a moveable spring. Our riders add imagination and make believe to a playground. Children can bounce in a speedy motorcycle, or ride upon their favorite animal or bug.
Tubes
These are any type of tube that children can climb through. Tubes are a fun way for toddlers to crawl and play safely at ground level. Children love hiding and playing games, and tubes add a touch of dimension to a basic playground.
