When ordering an aluminum SportsPlay Basketball Backboard, it is recommended to also order the Painted Target and Border set. This will upgrade your backboard with the familiar lines and rectangle seen on most basketball hoops. These targets help players know where to aim so that they can line up their shots, and allows them to easily see where on the backboard the ball is hitting so they can improve their accuracy and skill. The lines are bright red, and thick enough to be easily seen even in low light. The targets are on a silk screened surface which can easily be applied to your backboard without the need for messy paint or brushes. The colors bond tightly to aluminum so that there is no risk of them accidentally peeling off. The silk-screened targets are available with both the border and target rectangle (SKU: 541-998), or with just the rectangle by itself (SKU: 541-999).
