How does this come? 1 indivdual chain to where i would need to order two for each swing or 2 in 1 set to where i would just need to order 1 set for each swing?

Hello there, This chain does not come in a set it is one individual chain.

Can I cut the plastisol coated chains ? They are too long? I bought them for grand boys.

If you need to shorten the length of a plastisol chain, you must make the cut above the plastisol coating. If you mar the coating or cut it in any way, you have the potential of the plastisol peeling or breaking away from the chain. This is not advised.

Does the coating cover the full chain? If not, how far does it go?

The entire chain is not coated. The bottom 4' of each length of chain is coated. This is area where a child's hands would grasp the chain.

What is the weight rating of this chain? Is it suitable for adults?

These chains will hold the weight of an adult.
