This Note Chime Unit has six chimes that each produce a beautiful reverberating tone when struck with a mallet or by hand. The six notes are carefully tuned in the G Major Pentatonic scale, which allows them to play many classic and familiar melodies. The chimes are protected by a large frame that is made entirely out of solid recycled plastic. This plastic is not only environmentally friendly, but also remarkably durable, waterproof, and easy to clean. The frame also has a simple but decorative shape which resembles a Japanese torii gate. The frame has a large base with legs that spread out to keep the instrument perfectly stable, so that none of the sound vibrations are lost. The base allows the Note Chime Unit to be moved from place to place easily, and played on just about any surface.
