The Swirl is an interactive work of art which elevates the aesthetic appeal of its surroundings with the soothing melodic sounds of its chimes, as well as its gorgeous wavy design. Its flowing arrangement of 26 anodized aluminum chimes cover a wide range of notes from two different keys: the gold chimes play in C Major, while the silver ones play in A Minor Pentatonic. Each side has a mallet attached from it by a plastic-coated steel cable, which maintains the visual symmetry of the structure and makes it easy to reach every one of the chimes. A person can play each side with one hand, or share one side of the instrument with a friend to form an impromptu musical duo. The standard price includes a reinforced base made from recycled plastic, as well as in-ground mounting.
