Children will feel like they are as tall as the trees in the Westwood Pines Play System. The Westwood capitalizes on the challenges of climbing while supporting your own body weight creating a enticing challenge for all elementary school-aged children. For those that aren’t ready for the challenge, the structure is built around a core walkway adorned with stairs. The 90° Overhead Trapezoid Loop Ladder is ready with large bars for children to swing from one to the next. The Overhead Single Parallel Bar Ladder offers a chance for more coordinated climbers to push themselves with the difficulty of placing one hand in front of the other or scooting along sideways. For those climbers that are just testing the waters, the Vertical Ladder and the Inverted Arch Climbers both provide a gentler introduction. As for getting down again, the Double Slide, Wave Slides, and the Fireman Pole are all excellent ways to head down. The ground level has several stations that children can use to explore their imagination a bit with a Ship’s Wheel, a Single Drum and a Rain Wheel.
